Happy Thanksgiving & a Birthday

What a busy week! We had a nice Thanksgiving with our family in Austin and Aiden had a really fun 6th birthday. This year he decided he wanted to go see Bolt. It was so nice to be able to just invite a couple of buddies over for popcorn and M&Ms, then run over to the movies. It was so much less stress than the girls' themed parties are!

The Nutcracker Museum

This week we went on a field trip to the Nutcracker Museum and Pecan Orchard. The people who own the orchard and museum are an adorable little older couple who said that they had never had a tour of kids before. They had set out a table of little cups of vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, chopped pecans, chocolate covered pecans and white chocolate covered pecans. They had juice for the kids too.

It was amazing to see how many different nutcrackers they had on display.

I think I'm going to like my new home! I've been blogging for a few years over at Wordpress, but I couldn't do anything to make the backgrounds cute. And cute is a so important, don't you think?
